In our January News Briefs, we reported that our support base had increased to 65%. Although we have received some one-time gifts over the past two months, our current support level has remained at about 65%. Since our last update sent to you we have decided to make a special trip to California to engage in partnership development activities. Please pray that the Lord would bless that trip. We expect to be in Southern California from about March 27th through April 12th. While there we will be staying with Marvin and Jerry Thiel in Long Beach, CA. Their phone number is (562) 426-4072. Recently we heard from our fellow workers in Papua New Guinea that the Manus teams and a number of national co-workers are planning on having a retreat out on Manus Island. They have asked us to pray that God will use the retreat to bless and strengthen all of the Manus translation and literacy teams. Pray also for Charles Kowak who is helping to coordinate the retreat. He expects over 70 people to attend.
