Joel Walks in Taylor Graduation,
Receives the Taylor Towel

In full academic regalia, Joel Martin and 395 other Taylor University graduating seniors paraded into the packed gymnasium. It was the commencement ceremony for Taylor's 153rd graduating class in its long history of Christian academic excellence (since 1846). Graduates received their diplomas and their "Taylor Towel." The giving of the towel is a Taylor tradition symbolizing Christian service. In receiving the towel, each graduate is encouraged to live a life of service to the Lord and to others (John 13:3-17). Mom, Dad and Brother Jason were able to fly to Indiana and attend the ceremony on May 22nd. Congratulations Joel!

Martins Attend Seminar on
Member Care for Crisis Situations

The world today is a dangerous place, and missionaries increasingly find themselves in crisis situations. May 10th-14th saw Bill & Lenore participating in a member care for crisis situations seminar in Dallas. "It was a wonderful workshop," Lenore reports, "there is a lot more we can do to help bear one another's burdens, and be better neighbors to those around us who are going through, or have gone through stressful situations and crises. When we carry one another's burdens, we fulfill the law of Christ. (Gal. 6:2)"

Visit the Martins' Web Page!

Bill and Lenore Martin have published their own personal web page on the Internet. It is designed as an information and prayer resource for their friends and partners. It also contains quite a bit of information about the Lindrou Translation program and the Lindrou people. Bill reports, "We will be able use our web page as a tool to keep our partners better informed of our work. One of our challenges in the past," says Bill, "has been getting timely praise and prayer items out to our prayer partners. We are trusting the Lord to use our web site as a supplement to our prayer/news letters in getting the word out to our constituency. Check out the Martins' web site at:
