We are very thankful to the Lord for blessing us with two fine sons: Joel and Jason. This newsletter features a few glimpses of the Last 18 years in Joel’s life. [The collage of photos does not appear here - it was unfortunately not digitized but produced photographically at the print shop] Shortly after Joel graduates in June, we will be returning to the USA for our normal one-year furlough. We want to thank you for enabling us to serve here in Papua New Guinea during this past field term. We could not be here except for your prayers and financial support. Here are some praise and prayer points:

Praise Items:

Prayer Items:

1. Praise the Lord that Joel has decided to attend Taylor University in Upland Indiana, starting this Fall. He will be majoring in computer science. 1. Pray for the whole family that we will adjust quickly back to our home culture. Pray for adjustments for Joel as he lives on campus at Taylor.
2. Praise the Lord that Joel and his dad both passed their exams obtaining General Class Amateur Radio licenses. 2. Pray that our "ham" radio hobby will enable us to keep in close touch as a family.
3. Praise the Lord for Charles Kowak who will continue translating the Bible for the Lindrou people while we are on furlough. 3. Pray that Charles will be fully supported financially and through prayer, so that he will be able to devote himself full time to translation work.
